There are a million plus reasons why Fiona is a hip chick . Here's an example This morning she got out her rain boots and a warm coat She headed out the door into the rain for a day of   "Worm Hunting"   In a moment she went from  tomboy mode to princess mode This afternoon she had her first Ballet & Tap  recital What a ham! R eed, the gentleman he is, presented our tiny dancer with a dozen roses . What I'd tell ya... HIP. CHICK. Another reason Fiona is fun to be around... She does neat stuff with her eyes Dear Fiona, You're the best daughter any parent could ask for.   xxoo

Tam, We hope you have a very giggly birthday week! If you were here you too could have had a sweet pedicure   *************************************************

Frowns All Around

Image
Fiona and I were the first awake &  up.  As we crept up the stairs Fiona whispered to me that she wanted some juice along with some other orders I couldn't quite make out.  I set her up with some markers and  began the day by washing dishes and dreaming of a dishwasher.  About 15 minutes later Fiona gave me this picture.... Me:   What a great picture!  Who is it? Fiona : It's ME Nona! Me:   It looks like you're sad Fiona: I crying all day long Me: Why are you crying honey? Fiona: I wanted some juice. Here's one of Reeds Masterpieces... Poor Reed, For the first time ever he admitted to being "very very sick" .  He's home from school today.  Now that he has realizes being sick means he can stay home, I may be hearing that phrase more often.

Look What The Cat Dragged In

Image
Ry Guy saved a Garter Snake from the wrath of Otis the cat. The snake wasn't off the hook... it was Science Time We talked about what snakes eat, texture etc. Reed wanted to know if it was happy   we concluded, considering the trouble it just eluded...  it was a very happy snake All of this and not once did I yell not once did I even act afraid well, I did keep asking Ryan if he had a good grip  it was just out of concern for the snake or at least could be perceived that way to little ears I just stood very far back and took some pictures You would have freaked out Mom. F iona was all about it C uriosity did get the better of Reed and he touched it Though He remained cautious I can't say I blame him.  I wouldn't turn my back on a snake.  I've whole hardheartedly been working on defeating my fear since I've met Ryan. He loves snakes and I am so with St. Patrick on this one.   I'm working on it, we're working through it. One day...
