Our Dress

Image
Over the years we've done a photo of Fiona on her birthday in my wedding dress. The past couple have been, "quick throw the dress on and snap a few pictures." This year I almost forgot about it. Ry reminded me and I'm so grateful. Look how she's grown..... All of her wedding dress pictures/videos can be found here... Archive  I'm still madly in love with this dress.   It's simple with a classic tone.   I also love it because I can throw it in the washing machine and it comes out good as new.  She made that flower out of paper.  In her mind it was a must for the photo's. So Fiona. I could scream to the world how much I love this little girl  and still the world would have no idea the depth of my love.   Happy 6th Lil' Monkey!

{This is a post from a few weeks ago. I forgot to publish it. It's been a forgetting kind of month.} The weather was perfect. Coming out of 90 degree days into mid 70's for the weekend. So refreshing. {all this week and the beginning of next we're back in the 90's again.}  Normand beach was a stone throw away from our tent.  being silly in the kids cubby The backdrop A night walk before bed... {Puffy Cloud}

Image
Tonight Fiona was working with paper making a little of this, a little of that.   A rug for the lounge, a castle for Ryan and a clock for me.   She asked what she should make next.   I suggested she make a puffy cloud. 10 minutes later this is what she brought to me... I was initially a bit confused. When I inquired further she said, "You said to make a poopy cloud" Yep, that's a cloud's bum with poop coming out. I think the most awkward part of it all is she never questioned my poopy cloud suggestion in the first place. good-night xo
