{Super Kids}

Image
Saturday morning Fiona and I put Clay in his comfy Batman outfit. She decided to wear her Wonder Women costume to Irish Dance. (it was costume day) Seeing an opportunity for fun pictures we had Reed throw on his Superman gear... How we ended up with three super kids is beyond me. I thank my lucky stars daily for them.  Reed & Fiona- Protectors of little Clay...

{Sunday}

We took a little bike/scooter/pram ride with the kids, stopping to play at a couple of playgrounds... I'm so glad we brought the camera.  I love capturing everyday moments of our family. The most precious gift you can give your children is your time and attention. That beautiful gumtree up there is known to our family as the "bird party tree" On winter evenings cockatoos swarm around it making such a racket...we love it. We came home and had game night. Pictionary  Jr. was the game of choice. Reed and I traded in the typical pawn for a Lego Hero Factory guy... Such a simple and pleasant way to end the day.

Trashing Mum's Dress

Image
This year Fiona continued the trashing of my dress along the banks of the Yarra River... (for pictures from the past years click HERE ) I probably should have brushed her hair out. Oh well, it's all in fun. I'm so excited it's become a special tradition for her as well. She really tried to work it. :) It's difficult for me to fathom she went from this... to this...  in just 4 years  Boy is she beautiful!

Luna Park

Image
Reed & Fiona have had their share of adventures  but at 7 & 8 they had never been to an amusement park.  (Ry and I are not huge fans)   the iconic moon face entrance A birthday experience at the historic Luna Park in St. Kilda  was a perfect place for Fiona to bring in her new year. waiting for the ferris wheel too sweet Built in 1911, the Scenic Railway is the oldest continually-operating roller coaster in the world. Jan & Clay I love how the kids snuggled up to one another. The Spider... There's this wild side to Fiona that, I have to be honest, makes me dread her teenage years. She loves a good time! Bumper Cars.... Fiona wasn't tall enough to ride the bumper cars, hence the tear stained face. Fortunately she was tall enough for every other ride she was interested in. Clay was incredibly easy all day Round 2...
