I can remember being a child and the years seemed to drag like Jacob Marley's chain. 

Becoming an adult has lifted the weights of time. 

Even eternity feels like it would come too quickly.

I'm uncertain how I've become a mother to anyone beyond my baby dolls never mind to a 5 and 3.5 year-olds.
