{You Should See My Heart}

Image
In this next one I'm not looking at the camera because I had my eye on Reed. That's why I like it, it perfectly depicts life as a mother, always aware of who's doing what.   Reed wasn't feeling it.   There's always one in a clan.  If you think my hands are full, you should see my heart.  This little boy has two mum's ... like it or not!

{Sunrise In Sydney}

My favorite time of day is sunrise.  I don't experience it nearly enough. That's one of the reasons I love camping so much.  I'm up early and eager to see what's outside the tent because it's usually something beautiful like this... All of these pictures are from one morning on our Sydney adventure... Reed and his sticks  Best Friends We were on a tight budget for this trip... who am I kidding, we're always on a tight budget but traveling is a priority so we always figure out a way. Anyway, given our especially tight budget during this time we told the kids ahead of time that we were not going to eat out and stuck to it. (although we did treat them to gelato on the last day) Instead we made lunches in the morning while the kids played.  Beyond saving us a lot of money it saved us time trying to find a cafe that would suit all tastes and when they got hungry we could feed them immediately avoiding any grumpiness....

{My Boys}

After our picnic today I snapped some of my favorite pictures ever... some babies are so cute you just have to take a bite This next one may be on our wall in the near future... Can you feel the love between these three?   It's so pure and natural. {melt} Fiona and I have to be the luckiest ladies in the universe to have them all to ourselves.

{The Dude}

He's an old soul, a beautiful soul. I honestly don't know a gentler person than him. Reed cares so deeply about everyone around him, maybe to a fault because he's always worrying. He's working on that and I couldn't be more proud of how far he's come.   Today we went for a walk so I could grab a few solo pictures of him in some beautiful light... i love his poses he asked, "Do you want a cheesy smile mum?"   Reed-O's our clown.  He makes me laugh like nobody's business.  This face... is the face of my first born son, a boy going on 9 who has taught me so much about life, love and happiness.
