I knew when Ryan took his new position that we would finally look forward to and enjoy weekends all together . I had no idea how absolutely fabulous it would be, nor, did I know how quickly a weekend could fly by. Today we spent a lot of time playing in the snowy wood. Racing to Daddy Our kids are on thin ice I have so many more fun pictures from today to share BUT Tomorrow ############################################# They said,"We have big bums" I said " Okay, let me take a picture" What I adore most about this picture is how they are looking at one another. The winters of my childhood were long long seasons. We lived in three places- the school, the church and the skating rink- but our real life was on the skating rink. This passage can be found on the Canadian five dollar bill. Our children are finding the joys of winter here in Quebec and I too have rediscovered these same joys through them. We all sat and watched out our window as a motorcycles, four-wheelers and snowmobiles made circles on the river in front of the house. The biggest event of the day was both Reed and Fiona ice skating for the first time.

When Ryan was young living in Winchendon he would go sledding at the local golf course. I too have a million memories of sledding at the "Winchendon School". In all the overlaps of time and friends we never were able to go together. Until this week..... We caught some air and caught up for lost time Beyond the craziness is Mount Mondanock It's come full circle. We went sledding down our childhood hill with our children & family
