It was Nate's first hike out of the pack. dribbling his ball down the trail Clayton was our leader Reed & Fi played their usual games of pretend.  The next two pictures are a story on their own but for now I'll leave it at...  Fiona definitely got my silly sense of humor. Ry Guy loves it! The End

This past Sunday we spent the day at George Mason University. Fiona and her Girl Scout troop performed a halftime dance and cheer at the Girls basketball game. There were a lot of scouts there. In this picture you can see Fi in the bottom left corner. She's in the yellow shirt.

I've decided that once a year we are going to hire a professional to take our family portrait... starting this summer.   Still I needed to document us here and now so I dusted off my tripod. Here are the results... Of course our traditional running picture... I'm still in awe that we made these 4 beautiful and unique children. I'm even more intrigued by there love for one another. Life & Love is so good!

Just the right mix of Chaos and LOVE Oh boy, these days we have enough chaos to equal our love. When we were dating I told Ryan I wanted 5 kids and a bunch of crazy. As it turns out we only needed 3 kids for a bushel of craziness.

Happy Halloween!!!! I'm sure I've written about Halloween in Australia before.  Generally it's not even close to the same here as it is in America.  I would never walk around the neighborhood and trick or treat. There are certain blocks that will have balloons outside their house to indicate they are participating and last year we participated in that.  Other years we had our own trick or treat in the house. {see  HERE  for some past Halloweens} Last weekend we were invited to a Halloween party... Ryan was a zombie. Reed Moe was a zombie slayer... Fiona was a pumpkin princess- "Pumpkintina"  Long ago my sister advised me to choose how I want them to dress for Halloween because soon enough they will have their own ideas and most likely I won't be able to sway them.  Boy was she right.  I was hoping for a Peanuts theme. (I always thought Reed would be a great Charlie Brown) Instead I got this motley crew...  Clayton wa...
