 Sometimes I try to imagine the world from his point of view. It's all so new yet there are these four loving faces constantly there. It is such an honor and huge responsibility... to give a little human his first taste of the world. I think we're doing okay. At least he hasn't complained yet.

 On Monday he started calling me "mama"  On Tuesday he wouldn't stop saying "dada" On Wednesday he went to the beach for the first time since he was a newborn. (see pictures from that  HERE ) He was in awe as he crawled through all that sand and then the real fun began when he reached the ocean... he didn't want to get out.

I don't think I will ever be blase about kangaroo or rainbows. On our recent night walk, about 20 minutes from our house, we saw both! I'm sure golfers around here are not too impressed by the kangaroo hanging out on the green but we thought it was comical. This was one of the views as we walked up Mount Lofty... We saw this guy watching us. Take a good look at him, he is all muscle! On our walk back down all the females in his mob hopped away but not him. He stood his ground and did a great job at intimidating us.  Needless to say we took the long way around and Reed passed his stick to Ryan. Reed playing in the field as a kangaroo watches on... {love this picture} I climbed to the top of the hill and found this scene... These two pictures, above and below, speak volumes about each of their personalities as well as their relationship. She can always pick him up... Remembe...
