These bikes are powered by two cheeky monkeys A recent conversation with Fiona... Me: So do you like Canada or Australia better? Fiona: Australia! Me: Why? Fiona : The Santa here is much better. He brings us big things like the swing-set. The other Santa only brought us little things. Me giggling: Oh Fiona with a suspicious eye : Is there only one Santa? I do have to note that this conversation was had over a very special tea party. Fiona worked all morning preparing a big surprise in honor of me. She lugged their little table and chairs outside to the drive;Of course? she prepared it complete with a tablecloth and freshly picked flowers. Because Fiona is a proper host, each guest was given a gift. The spread of food truly was wonderful. Lots of fresh fruit and freshly squeezed apple juice. {yep we have a juicer!} There were great conversations between all of us. In the finish Reed cleared our places. The last ballet class of the term was open for families to watch. And take pictures... Reed was my photographer. He ROCKED it! So did she. My kids have talent. Today we're off and running to Reed's birthday party at Ace Space. Later we're going over our fire evacuation plan, complete with fire drills. It's only been 14months since we've lived here. YIKES! (I don't foresee mother of the year coming my way) Wishing you a wonderful Sunday!

The kids traded in their school uniforms for their Sunday best. reading a book before the big night out I so wish I had pictures from the dance... It was darling I did mange to get a few pictures afterwards. After Fiona's hair was danced out of place. After they were all hopped up on lollies. Exactly when they were at their silliest. * I should mention this dance happened months ago. {like in August}

There seems to be two choices with swim lessons. Intensive programs and term long programs. After trying both I prefer the intensive. I think they get more out of the longer classes. The 5 days in a row seems to help with muscle memorization. I also like that because it's offered during the kids holiday we don't have to give up another extra like karate or ballet during the term. Last week the littles finished their second round of intensive lessons. They are progressing so quickly! They really will be surfing before we know it. After the lessons the kids stayed and played for another hour. I even got in with them a couple of the days and taught them how to play Marco Polo. Man did we have some laughs at the pool last week! * All schools in Victoria have 2 week breaks between terms. (there are 4 terms in a school year) The holidays are taken during the same two weeks across the state. Most sports and extras follow the same
