I've always loved this picture of Clayton and Nathaniel in Massachusetts. It needed to be posted. That Smile of sheer delight just tickles my heart. They have such a special friendship. Ironically it's depicted pretty well in this picture. :)  Boys are fun! They're different but fun! xo

{Happy Birthday Fiona}

Image
Today is Fiona's 12th Birthday! She's the most amazing young lady.  She's thoughtful, the best friend anyone could ever hope for, she's sweet, intelligent  ( honors classes ) , outgoing, fun, generous, responsible, honest, genuine, hilarious,a go-getter, athletic, creative, sassy and so very kind with enough fire in her belly. I could go on and on then tell a bunch of stories to highlight each attributed I've listed. She's our amazing Fiona and we couldn't be any more proud of her.  Fi had her Birthday Experience last week. It was 3 days 3 nights in Clearwater, Florida with my Friend and her daughter. Four ladies exchanging white snow for mid 80's and white sands. What a great birthday escape!   I'll document it soon. For now I will leave these pictures of my little girl back flipping as the sun sunk behind her, into the Gulf of Mexico... Happy Birthday Biscuit! May you flip happily through all your days! xo

{Silly Tilly}

Introducing a new family member...  Sweet Tilly came into this world on November 6th 2018,  into our hearts and home on the 19th of February. She is so tiny but has quickly filled a big place in our hearts. Welcome to the Woodland Clan Tilly! xo

{Nate's First Day}

Image
Last week our baby, Nathaniel, went to school for the first time. We're so excited for Nate. We think he's going to thrive in a school environment. It's tough seeing our youngest leave the nest to stretch his wings.  It's difficult when he fusses as he climbs those gigantic stairs into the bus.  It's all worth it when we hear Nathaniel singing a song he never sang before or studying his artwork on the fridge with pride. We decided one way to show him our support would be to decorated a lunch bag for his big first week... Reed squeaked away from the table before I could nab a picture of him with his bag. boo.  Clayton drew Nate with his teacher. Down at the bottom you can see our family too. We're there for support!  What can I say? I'm not an artist.  waiting for his early morning bus... He goes 4 days a week for a few hours. The perfect amount of time for me to get some one on one time with Clayton. (C
