The Big Birthday Bash
It's been awhile since I've spent time in this space.
First
the kids had a two week holiday.
the kids had a two week holiday.
(I can't believe they're halfway through their first year of school)
Therefore
I took a little break too so I could spend every minute loving them up.
Then
it took me another week plus to get back into the groove.
Now
here I am ready to report on the biggest happening during those 3 weeks.
Ryan turned 35 years old.
The kids set up one of the best birthday party ever for him.
I know this because they kept asking Ryan if it was his best party, of course it was.
We each decorated a rice krispie birthday cake.
Fiona decorating the lounge with balloons.
Now all we had to do was wait for daddy.
He's a good dad because he came home early knowing the kids were anxiously waiting for him.
When he did come home they yelled for him to wait outside.
They scurried around the house turning all the lights off and hid.
The surprise was, it was a surprise party...who knew?
I had no idea.
Fiona made a balloon with sparkles inside. She insisted that Ry pop it first.
Time for the gifts!
Can you tell she's excited for him to open it?
I brought them to Salvos to pick out any gift for him.
Ry loved his snow globe from Fiona.
She just had to buy this scarf for him.
An "I love my Pop" mug from Reed.
He was extremely diligent at finding just the right gift.
As always, it paid off.
gotta love a handsome face like this one, especially with fruit all over it. |
gotta love this mug too |
We made coffee Popsicle's with only Ryan in mind.
Happy Birthday to the greatest guy around!
we sure do love you
