Road Trip

The past couple of weeks we've been on the most fantastic trip to Thailand.
Now we're home, grasping for normalcy as our heads spin with longing thoughts of our holiday.
I'll certainly be sharing highlights from our trip for months to come.

Before we left I had a lot of catching up to do in this space.
I'm hoping budget time over the next few weeks to get caught up on the month before our trip.
We had so many wonderful moments I want to record.

For instance the road trip to Reed's Birthday Experience...

I love The Great Ocean Road!
It's exactly how I pictured Australia.
Exactly how Ryan described it to me.

I was thrilled when I realized we'd travel along it to Reed's Birthday Experience.
Then I realized it's not the same when you're driving a cliff sided road for 4 hours with two little ones in the back anxious to see daddy and set up camp. {and forgot the ipad}

Still, It was magnificent.
I don't know how anyone could be unhappy on this road.
Its beauty overwhelms me with peace and tranquility.

As we drove by a familiar road I had to take a quick detour to see my koala friends.

The benefit to not witnessing a koala in the wild until your 30's is, you truly appreciate it.
It doesn't get old to me.
The kids on the other hand- they think it's cool for a few minutes and then busy themselves with sticks or something.
Really?  What is wrong with them?
Are they really becoming that Australian?
Will they instead be excited about seeing squirrels again one day?

LOVE.  HIM.
