A Baby Itch Scratched and other Woodland happenings

Here are random pics from this past week...

 The kids have started jogging.
Reed goes too fast.
 Fiona makes too many stops to pick flowers.
Still they are doing it and I'm so proud of them.
I have no clue why Reed needs to wear his goggles running.
  I just go with it sometimes.

 Miss Angelina has gone broody.
She wants babies.
So she sits and sits all day on her nest;
 Getting out only a couple times a day for a few minutes and then right back to the nest.
I couldn't bear to watch her do this in vain.
A couple of weeks ago we gave her fertilized eggs.  {Fertilized by none other than Flower-Jingle.}
If all goes well they will be hatching this Thursday or Friday!

 The four that are grouped together are the fertilized eggs.
 Angelina always pushes Bulls-eyes eggs to the side.
What a smart mama.
 I have to say it's so funny to see the two hens sitting in that nest together.

 Ryan gave a talk and has been out in the field a bunch.

 A note from Fiona...
Dad I hope you have a good time. love from Fiona.
That's him camping in a tent next to a river with fish.
I still struggle with their Victorian cursive.  Some letters, like the p, throw me.

Emily the Elf is back!
