{Fleeting moments}

Image
I've spent time this week making photo books of our family adventures. Of course pages were filled with Thailand photographs. Our family is obsessed with this country.  I realized there are a ton of photos I adore that I never posted. Like the few here from our last night on the island of Koh Mak... Koh Mak, Thailand Sunsets, like childhood, are viewed with wonder not just because they are beautiful but because they are fleeting I love these belly pictures. It gives me great pleasure to look back at my body while carrying little Clay. I had a bit over 2 months to go. ~As a side note, being pregnant in Thailand is the best. I was given special treatment everywhere we went because of  that belly of mine. Thai's are incredibly respectful people. leaping over the hills... The next day we met an American on our trip back to the mainland. He told us he watched our family play in the water as

{Five Months Old}

People love to say Clay looks like Reed/Fiona. Everyone has an opinion. Mostly I get, "what a strong family resemblance!" No doubt the 3 of them look like siblings. So here's the trio all at the same age. What do you think?

{A Happy Mess}

Our little Clayton is eating solids now. First, rice cereal, then avocado and last night I pureed some peas for him. Just like his older siblings he LOVES to eat and make a mess... he started using a sippy cup too  Matching his fun with food is good times in the tub... He could splash around forever. Couldn't you just take a bite? I don't remember these early stages passing as quickly with the Reed & Fiona. I think I was more anxious to see their personalities unfold.  I did my best to consciously savor every moment but I was just too darn excited to see what came next. With Clay I rarely find myself looking to the future, I hover in the here and now. I don't waste time mourning the baby he was yesterday and I'm certain the days ahead will be brilliant. Even so the past five months have flown by. I feel as if I just had him a few weeks ago. (Honestly I'm still in a state shock that we were able to get pregnant again.) Yet,

Just because he's so darn cute, here's a picture of Clay too...

{Burrinjuck, New South Wales- Part 2}

Burrinjuck State Park is the type of place I'd like to stay for a week and just be. They have everything from fishing to Frisbee Golf to great wildlife. We shared many laughs over the wombats at night. They're the cutest things but I don't think they're the sharpest tool in the shed. That's a story for another time. Here are some more pictures from our morning... We made our way down to the lake... cave island tiny fiona He/we love that kangaroo pouch. It's rare moment if he fusses while in it. my explorer This next picture is a favorite. That baby joey in her pouch is so young he doesn't even have fur yet. Reminds me of my nosy  curious Clay. He doesn't want to miss a thing. I have similar pictures of Reed but they were taken with my phone, or, maybe it's video of him.  Either way I'll be sure to post them. It was a 20 minute drive out of the park, but it sure was
