{Christmas In September}
I've spent most of my life living in New England so I'm familiar with how quickly weather can change.
New England has nothing on Melbourne.
Weather here will drastically change from one hour minute to the next.
Spring has been lingering in the air for the past few weeks, it's been wonderful
Yesterday was the same. It was overcast but still warm.

Around 5.00 the wind picked up and it started to pour down rain.
Within minutes we heard hail pounding on the house.
Here's a little video I took with my phone...
The kids were screaming with excitement.
"It's snowing in Australia!"
It didn't matter how many times I told them it was hail they continued to say it was snowing.
It was so constant that it really did feel a bit like snow on steroids.

Reed and Fiona asked if I would put on Christmas music and they busied themselves making gifts for everyone.
I was gifted a beautiful fan |
Fiona gave Reed a picture |
Clay was given a necklace for his wooden kangaroo pull toy |
Ryan received a hip hat..
It says "Fish Scientist" |
Reed gave him some dinosaur identification cards |
Reed gave Fiona a Frozen coloring page |
Clay gifted us all with his sweetness...
This morning there were still patches of hail on the ground and I overheard the kids chatting to each other about how awesome last night was. I know I've said it before but I can not wait for them to see real snow again. (and squirrels) I never thought I'd utter these words but I do look forward to seeing snow again. Less for me and more for the kids because they are going to be out of this world excited when they really do see it again. Sledding & making a snowman- forget about it!
