{Tassie, The Second Day}
We headed to Cradle Mountain.
On the drive there we stopped to check out a random waterfall on the side of the road.
Miss Fiona was more interested in rock climbing- typical.
Then we stopped and had a little picnic lunch.
This next picture gives a glimpse into Reed's thoughtful nature.
While we were hanging out Reed decided he wanted to pick up the litter in the area, and he did.
This boy truly has a heart of gold.
We spotted the first of many echindnas when we entered the national park...
I'm a bit smitten with them.
They look a little intimidating but they are really docile and completely adorable.
I find it really interesting that echindnas and platypus are the only two egg laying mammals that still exist.
Cradle Mountain ahead...
We hiked about, glacial formed, Dove Lake.
A family photo wouldn't be a Woodland family photo if everyone was looking...

It was one of the best purchases we've ever made.
Not only is it great for hikes,I can get my house work done so much more quickly with him in this contraption.
On our way back to camp we stopped to let the kids do some rock climbing...
I love this next picture of Reed Moe...
This guy was doing some serious rock climbing himself.
~It's a hot one today! We told the kids it was going to get up to 100 and they freaked. They're only familiar with Celsius which means in their mind we were telling them it'll be over 200 degrees. Ha! We're waiting for it to cool down a bit then we're headed to the drive-in's for another late night out. xo
